|The Pleasantville Lions Club was chartered in
1931 with a strong emphasis on service to our local
community, especially to the visually impaired and the
critically ill patients at the Rosary Hill Home. The
Pleasantville Lions Club raises money many ways to support the Club’s various charitable activities. The
Club contributes to both local worthy causes and people
in need worldwide.
Membership in the Pleasantville Lions Club is by
invitation and is open to men and women who believe that
their involvement in the community can make a
difference. The Pleasantville Lions meet once each month
at a local restaurant to plan their activities. Guest
speakers at these meetings include representatives from
the various charities and organizations that receive
assistance from the Pleasantville Lions.
